Tempist

A journey through dimensions of memory, asking whether a digital afterlife is possible.

Watch on YouTube

This project investigates the possibility of digital immortality by looking at the digital footprint we leave behind and how it can be woven into cultural heritage.

Working together over several months, we built skills in Blender, ZBrush and Substance Painter, and in capturing and rendering real-world elements in 3D with MeshLab, Meshroom and COLMAP, alongside Mixamo, Sketchfab and the Unreal Megascans library. We brought our assets into Unreal Engine, refined the script, and produced a film in which the main character travels through dimensions of memory. The narration runs in four languages, to reflect the diversity of human experience and the ambiguous nature of crossing into the digital realm.
