With The Spark I seek to bridge the gap between the organic and the mechanical, exploring the cyclical nature of life and its potential for rebirth through technology. Shaped like a human hand, the installation uses electronics to stimulate the senses and give off warmth and movement, like a comforting hand to hold.
The work speaks of an ephemeral existence, where past and present coexist and where artificial elements bring new life to reality.
